What can we say? It was a lazy day on the water (lazy meaning very few casts and lots of chatting) fishing for carp. This was a different fishing trip compared to our normal fishing routine, however it was a great day on the water! Our bait choice was simple: corn. We even managed to land some massive fish – 3 in total.

Walter’s massive carp surfacing for us to take a peek – and to freak us out due to it’s size…
Walter – a little closer to bringing in the log of a carp…
Finally finished the fight and posing for the shot. What a huge carp! Must’ve been close to 15lbs.
Check out the thickness of this thing!
Another shot of the beast…
The release, part 1…
There she goes…off for more bottom feeding…
Walter’s second and last of the day…not as big as the first but still a good size!
Carp fishing was both a good change of pace AND really fun! We’ll definitely do it again. FAC Yeah!
